RV Evaluations and Potential Offers

An RVBuyerTexas evaluation considers a possible direct purchase price for an RV. It is not an independent certified appraisal, insurance valuation, or guarantee of the vehicle’s retail market value.

Relevant evaluation factors may include the RV’s year, make, model, type, mileage when applicable, overall condition, damage, title or lien status, location, and access for transportation.

Information provided during an inquiry may need to be clarified or confirmed. A preliminary price indication should not be treated as a guaranteed purchase price.

Submitting a request does not, by itself, mean that you or RVBuyerTexas have agreed to a sale. Each potential purchase depends on the circumstances of the RV and terms agreed upon by the parties.

RV Types, Condition, and Eligibility

RVBuyerTexas considers inquiries involving Class A, Class B, and Class C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, camper vans, and other recreational vehicles located in Texas.

Owners of older, damaged, non-running, or stored RVs may also request an evaluation. These vehicles are considered individually rather than automatically accepted or rejected based on a single condition.

Individual RV owners are the primary audience for our service. Dealership inquiries may also be considered.

Not every RV will meet the purchasing criteria for an offer or completed transaction.

Agreed Purchases, Free Towing, and Pickup

A request for an evaluation is different from an agreed RV purchase.

If an RV purchase is agreed upon, free towing is included as part of that purchase. RVBuyerTexas does not offer free towing, transport, storage, or removal independently of an agreed purchase.

Pickup planning can depend on the RV’s location, accessibility, running condition, and transportation requirements. These matters should be discussed as part of the proposed transaction.

Website information does not guarantee a particular pickup date or transportation schedule.

Texas Titles, Liens, and Ownership Records

Before selling an RV, the seller should confirm their ownership rights or legal authority to transfer the vehicle and identify any outstanding lien or documentation issue.

Texas documentation requirements vary by vehicle type. Motorhomes and towable recreational vehicles can be subject to different title and registration rules. For example, TxDMV’s trailer guidance distinguishes requirements by trailer classification, gross weight, and prior title status.

A missing title, existing lien, ownership discrepancy, or incomplete documentation may require additional steps before a purchase can proceed. Submitting an evaluation request does not resolve those matters.

For applicable Texas-titled vehicle sales, TxDMV advises sellers to submit a Vehicle Transfer Notification within 30 days of the sale. This notification is not a substitute for the buyer’s title-transfer process. Sellers should also keep records of the transaction.
