Sell Your RV in Texas – Find Your Area
Your RV is in Texas. Start with its location.
RV Buyer Texas provides free, no-obligation purchase evaluations for recreational vehicles physically located in Texas. Whether you’re near Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio or in a smaller Texas community, you can submit your RV for individual consideration.
We evaluate motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, camper vans and other eligible recreational vehicles. Older, damaged, stored and non-running RVs may also be considered.
If we agree to buy your RV, towing is included at no additional cost. Every purchase depends on the vehicle, its ownership documentation and the arrangements agreed upon.
Free evaluation • No obligation to accept an offer • Free towing with an agreed purchase
Find Your Texas Location
Can you request an RV evaluation outside a major Texas city? Yes.
RV Buyer Texas accepts purchase inquiries for RVs located throughout Texas, including smaller towns and rural properties. The vehicle’s condition, exact location and accessibility are considered when deciding whether a direct purchase is possible.
Start with one of the five regional groups below, or continue to the section for sellers whose city is not listed.
These cities are geographic reference points for RV sellers. They are not advertised as physical offices, and inclusion does not guarantee an offer, purchase or pickup date.
Dallas–Fort Worth & North Texas
12 cities
If your RV is in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, the first useful detail is its actual parking location. A motorhome stored behind a gated commercial entrance may require different pickup arrangements from a travel trailer parked in an accessible driveway.
Be ready to mention entry restrictions, storage-facility release rules or any problem that could prevent the RV from being moved.
Cities:
- Dallas
- Fort Worth
- Arlington
- Plano
- McKinney
- Frisco
- Denton
- Irving
- Garland
- Grapevine
- Weatherford
- Burleson
Houston & the Gulf Coast
10 cities
If your RV is located around Houston, Galveston Bay or the Gulf Coast, include any known water intrusion, storm damage, corrosion or long-term outdoor-storage issues that affect its actual condition.
These problems do not automatically rule out an inquiry. They are useful details for determining the vehicle’s condition and possible transport requirements.
Cities:
- Houston
- Katy
- Conroe
- Pearland
- Sugar Land
- Baytown
- Pasadena
- League City
- Tomball
- Galveston
Austin & Central Texas
10 cities
Central Texas includes urban neighborhoods, suburban storage locations, RV parks and properties outside the main metropolitan areas.
If the RV is parked along a narrow driveway, on unpaved ground or on a property with restricted turning space, describe that access before transportation is discussed.
Cities:
- Austin
- Round Rock
- Georgetown
- Cedar Park
- Pflugerville
- Leander
- San Marcos
- Waco
- Temple
- Killeen
San Antonio, South Texas & the Coastal Bend
8 cities
An RV in this part of Texas may be parked in a residential driveway, a storage facility, a long-term RV site or another private location.
For a motorhome that has not been driven recently, mention its starting and driving condition. For a fifth wheel or travel trailer, explain whether the hitch, tires, landing gear and other equipment needed for movement appear usable.
Cities:
- San Antonio
- New Braunfels
- Boerne
- Seguin
- Corpus Christi
- Victoria
- McAllen
- Brownsville
West Texas, the Panhandle, North & East Texas
10 cities
For RVs located farther from the larger metropolitan areas, the actual city and ZIP code are especially useful. The condition of access roads, gates, available maneuvering space and vehicle mobility may affect pickup planning.
The locations in this group span several distinct parts of Texas:
West Texas & the Big Country
- El Paso
- Abilene
- Midland
- Odessa
- San Angelo
Panhandle & South Plains
- Amarillo
- Lubbock
North Texas
- Wichita Falls
East & Southeast Texas
- Tyler
- Beaumont
Your City Isn’t Listed?
You can still request an RV evaluation if the vehicle is physically located in Texas.
The directory is a selected list of 50 Texas cities, not a list of every community where an inquiry may be submitted. You do not need to live in the same city where your RV is parked.
Provide the ZIP code for the RV’s current location, along with its year, make, model and condition. That information helps start the evaluation.
Where Is Your RV Parked Right Now?
Your mailing address and the RV’s actual location may be different. For a possible purchase, the vehicle’s physical location and accessibility are what matter.
At Home or on Private Property
Tell us whether the RV is in a driveway, beside a house, inside a building or on open land.
Large motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels may require sufficient access for a suitable transport vehicle. Narrow entrances, overhead obstacles and uneven ground are useful details to mention.
At an RV Storage Facility
A gated storage facility may require an appointment, a release authorization or coordination with the facility manager.
If the RV has unpaid storage charges or restrictions that could prevent its release, mention the situation early so it can be considered before a transaction moves forward.
At an RV Park or Long-Term Site
If the vehicle has been stationary for an extended period, let us know whether it is connected to utilities, has extended slide-outs or leveling equipment, or may need preparation before it can move.
At a Repair Shop or Another Property
If your RV is awaiting repairs, has mechanical problems or cannot currently be driven or towed, describe those issues.
You can submit an inquiry without first arranging to move the RV. Do not attempt unsafe towing or driving simply to request an evaluation.
What Information Helps Us Review Your RV?
You can begin with basic vehicle information. A ZIP code is sufficient to identify the general location for an initial inquiry.
The most useful details are:
- Year, make and model: Identifies the vehicle being considered.
- RV type: Class A, B or C motorhome, travel trailer, fifth wheel, toy hauler, camper van or another recreational vehicle.
- Condition: Known leaks, damage, mechanical issues, missing equipment or major repair needs.
- Mobility: Whether the motorhome starts and drives or the towable RV appears capable of safe movement.
- Actual location: The city and ZIP code where the RV is parked.
- Access: Gates, narrow roads, low clearances, restricted entrances or other obstacles.
- Ownership status: Whether you have the title and whether a loan or lien is outstanding.
Current photographs can be helpful, particularly when a vehicle has visible damage or has been stored for a long period.
You can start an inquiry without submitting identification scans or financial account numbers. Additional documentation may be discussed if a transaction progresses.
From Location Inquiry to Possible Purchase
1. Submit Your RV Details
Start with your contact information, the RV’s year, make, model and Texas ZIP code. Include known condition or access concerns.
2. Receive an Individual Evaluation
RV Buyer Texas reviews the vehicle information to determine whether a direct purchase may be possible. Additional details may be requested before an offer can be considered.
Not every RV qualifies, and submitting information does not guarantee an offer.
3. Decide Whether to Move Forward
If a purchase offer is made, you are free to accept or decline it.
If you agree to sell, the necessary ownership documentation and pickup arrangements must be confirmed. Towing is included at no additional cost as part of the agreed RV purchase.

Texas RV Titles and Selling Documents
Ownership documentation is an important part of selling a motorhome or towable RV in Texas.
For applicable Texas-titled vehicle sales, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles provides guidance on properly completing title documents, including a signed title and the applicable title application. TxDMV also advises sellers to file a Vehicle Transfer Notification within 30 days of a qualifying sale to obtain the protections described by the department.
Title requirements can vary by vehicle type. Motorhomes, travel trailers and other trailers should not automatically be treated as having identical paperwork requirements.
If a lien is recorded, appropriate lienholder documentation may be needed before a sale can be completed. If an existing Texas title is lost, TxDMV provides a certified-copy procedure. An RV with an out-of-state title may require additional ownership-document review.
Before completing a sale, consult the official Texas resources relevant to your vehicle:
- TxDMV — Buying or Selling a Vehicle
- TxDMV — Trailer Titles and Registration
- TxDMV — Get a Copy of Your Title
- TxDMV — Add or Remove a Lien
A purchase evaluation does not establish that a particular title, lien or ownership problem has been resolved.
